JOB TITLE: Housekeepers and Breakfast / lobby attendants COMPANY TYPE: Hotel QUALIFICATIONS: No specific requirements DUTIES: Housekeeper: stocks supply on cart correctly in the morning and afternoon, with all necessary, linens, guest supplies, and cleaning equipment; cleaning guest rooms, removing soiled bed and bath linens, and replacing with clean linens, removing trash from rooms, cleaning bathroom area, dust all surfaces, vacuuming rooms and mopping floors; promote hotel services, facilities, and outlets, provide guest with information such as local attractions and directions; other duties may be required as directed by your Manager. Breakfast / lobby attendant: taking inventory of food, beverages, and supplies needed for each day, ordering or purchasing food supplies, preparing foods such as fresh fruit, coffee and juices from concentrates; stocking coffee, juice and milk machines or dispensers; clearing and cleaning tables; washing serving equipment and returning to storage; keeping breakfast area clean including removing trash, cleaning breakfast area and kitchen counters, cabinets and floors; Servicing the public areas and bedrooms allocated to you each day to the appropriate standard; vacuum, sweep and mop all hallways, stairs, main entrances, business rooms, and store areas; ability to clean all toilets, brush toilets clean urinals, tiles outsides, and under toilets, washes and polish all vanity areas, vacuum and mop floors; clean lifts, doors glass, floor and tracks; clean and remove spots from all walls, doors and floors. Polish all mirrors and glass; clean all windows on the inside including frames ledges and glass; inspect the condition of all furniture for tears, rips and stains report all damages to supervisor. Check for missing items; remove all dust and particles from upholstered furniture, including crevices and under cushions; move all furniture and clean underneath; other tasks may be required as directed by your Manager. GENDER: Both females and males are accepted NATIONALITY: Any nationality MINIMUM ENGLISH: Conversational WAGE: $11 hourly, tips are available AVERAGE HOURS: 32-40 hours per week OVERTIME: Available on occasion (overtime rate – $19.50 per hour) FREQUENCY OF PAY: Bi-weekly WORK SCHEDULES: 4 – 6 days per week TRAINING: On the job SICK/VACATION DAYS: None paid MEAL CONDITIONS: N/A LOCATION: Key West, FL
